Mandla Moyo Managing Partner
With a distinguished background in public service and community leadership, Mandla brings a wealth of experience to his role as Principal of Ekhaya Strategies. His tenure as Senior Advisor for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at AARP, along with his previous role as Director of Community Engagement at AARP Indiana, has shaped his strategic approach to inclusive program development, stakeholder engagement, and organizational transformation.
Mandla holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Jackson State University and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Strayer University, grounding his work in both academic insight and practical application. His leadership reflects a deep commitment to equity, civic collaboration, and sustainable social impact.
Based in Montgomery, Alabama, Mandla shares life with his wife, Kristen, and their three children. His lived experience as a community advocate and family man continually informs his passion for building stronger, more connected communities through meaningful partnerships.
